Professionally, Anna is a writer in pursuit of justice and belonging, currently working in the nonprofit and philanthropy space. Personally, she is a dog mom, podcast consumer and emotional caretaker with a deep love for her family and friends.
She has lived in Oregon her whole life—growing up in rural Eastern Oregon, attending college in Eugene, moving to Bend for her first job and has been in Portland since 2016. Anna's rural roots keep her grounded and connected to her community, even when that community is in an urban space like Portland.
Having been raised by a feminist mom who taught her at a very young age that it's her body, her choice, and a dad who grew up in the Blackfeet Nation in Montana, Anna is driven by the stories that formed her, the resilience of her ancestors and the continued dream to build something better for future generations.
